Fundraising for the Veterans - Red, White, & Freedom Fest Bike Night alt

On June 25th from 5pm-8pm at Milwaukee Powersports, we hosted our first Red, White, & Freedom Fest Bike Night!  The goal of Red, White, & Freedom Fest was not only to have a great evening for our community with live music, beer, food trucks, and motorcycles, but to raise money for our veterans in the spirit of the United States of America's 250th anniversary.  What better way to do that than to raise money for veteran nonprofit organizations?

Milwaukee Powersports is known for hosting daytime events like Bikes & Coffee, happening on the third Saturday of the month May-Sept.  This motorcycle event has been a tradition for Milwaukee Powersports since its creation back in 2023.  However, having an evening bike night is a first for this southeastern Wisconsin dealership.  In comparison to Bikes & Coffee, which usually features a more chill, laid back morning vibe, creating a great morning atmosphere and start for people's Saturday rides, bike nights are different.  When riders pull up to bike nights, they expect live music, tons of bikes, food like burgers, brats, hot dogs, and other greasy food truck food, beer, sodas, and a way to end a day of riding or a fun way to end a day of work.  Most of the time, riders expect to see bike nights on Thursdays at various locations, including the Iron Horse Hotel, southeastern WI motorcycle dealerships, or even simple parking lot parties at local establishments.

The experience at Red, White, & Freedom Fest was no different.  Great food truck food from Big E's Epic Eats and Sav's Food Trailer, live music from Shelly Mack & the Reunion, and our wonderful partners at Eagle Sports Range in Cudahy, WI pulled up with free range passes and firearm education/range opportunities for our crowd.  Though the night started off with a little bit of rain, our wonderful community didn't let that stop them!  With over 120 bikes that showed up to enjoy the free beer, sodas, and fun, cruiser, sportbike, three-wheeler, mini-moto, scooter, and enduro riders alike were all able to experience the fun that is bike night.

On top of the normal fun, Milwaukee Powersports wanted to raise money for two local veteran non-profits; the Paralyzed Veterans of America (WI Chapter) and the Center for Veteran Issues.  With a helmet and Suzuki cornhole board raffle and tips from our beverage tent, the community was able to raise a total of $535 for our charities.  Milwaukee Powersports pledged to match that amount, with a grand total of $1,070 raised for the veterans.

However, we aren't done there. Riders can stop into the dealership and pick up a Red, White, & Freedom wristband from our parts department for only $3 each.  100% of these proceeds will be going to the Paralyzed Veterans of America (WI Chapter) and the Center for Veteran Issues, with Milwaukee Powersports matching every single dollar earned through wristband purchases.  These wristbands will be avaialble for sale until July 31st.

We want to extend a THANK YOU to our wonderful motorcycle community and all of our loyal guests and riders for showing up with their generosity and amazing attitudes despite the rain.
